Electricity use
Your room is fitted with a circuit breaker and your lights and power will switch off if you draw more than 4.5 amps (1125 watts).
Hi-fi units, reading lamps, electric blankets and Hall-supplied heaters can be used, but appliances such as hairdryers, electric jugs and convection heaters should not.
Housekeeping
We are the only UWA on-campus accommodation to provide and wash bed linen and towels as part of our weekly fee.
On one day per week, rooms will be cleaned and linen changed by the Hall's housekeeping staff.
Residents are expected to keep their rooms in a reasonable state.
Laundry
An on-site laundrette with several pay washing machines and dryers is available for use for personal laundry.
The laundry is located near the M House entrance, adjacent to the ramp from the resident car park.
Outdoor clotheslines can be found behind B House, but please check the watering schedule (on the office noticeboard) to ensure your clothes avoid being 're-washed' by the sprinklers!
We wash your bed linen and towels.
