Currie Hall, your home away from home, provides a varied range of modern facilities for its residents to use, whether they are studying or relaxing.
All bedrooms are fully furnished and have phone and internet access. We are the only UWA on-campus accommodation to provide and wash bed linen and towels as part of our services.
If you're seeking entertainment, the Hall has a tennis/basketball court, a games room equipped with table tennis and pool tables, several television facilities, including Foxtel and a large theatre-style projection facility with a DVD player and a VCR. There is also a large-screen television in the Dining Hall for events such as World Cup Soccer, Olympics and other major events.
The student common room has newspapers, chess sets and other board games. A computer room has 10 machines that allow access to the internet, other commonly used software and a printer.
On-site parking is available, including nine under cover parking bays. Residents need to register their vehicle with the office and pay a small annual charge. A secure bicycle compound is available for residents who have bicycles.
The Hall has a modern, state-of-the-art fire warning system installed in each room.
In addition, a security officer is hired to patrol the Hall grounds and buildings after hours to ensure that residents are safe and have assistance at all hours.
