Currie Hall boasts two ceiling-mounted projection TVs in our main common rooms.

The Blue Room

The Blue Room is our warm and inviting common room with comfy couches, reverse-cycle air-conditioning and a state-of-the-art entertainment system, including a "home theatre" projection TV/video/DVD.

Residents are welcome to use this room at any time of the day or night during semester (other than when reserved exclusively for conference use).

The Nazim Khan Games Rooms

The Nazim Khan Games Rooms is the centre of many fun activities! It can be found on the downstairs level and offers three pool tables and three table tennis tables; the sporting equipment is supplied and maintained by the Residents' Club.

The Foxtel Room is located at the end of the Nazim Khan Games Room and has a ceiling-mounted projection television offering a number of Foxtel channels (including sports channels) and a video.

The Break-Out Room is Currie Hall's after-hours activity and TV room and is available for all residents to 'hang out' in at any time. It has a TV, CD player, refrigerator and sink.

Residents may also book this room for exclusive use for birthday parties, late evening get-togethers and the like. Events must be booked in advance at the front office and authorised by the Principal.

The Common Room

The Common Room is place where you can just relax and talk to friends.

  • It has several chess sets and other board games and is furnished with lounge chairs and tables
  • It is also fully air-conditioned/reverse-cycle heated.
